AR dedicates toilet, rain-sheds; extend aids

Imphal, February 24 2024:
Under operation Sadbhavana Project for the financial year 2023-24, Assam Rifles dedicated a newly constructed toilet to the village authority of Pangal Basti in the border town Moreh on Friday while rain-sheds were handed over to the locals of Shaibol, Lamlong and Laibi villages in Tengnoupal district, conveyed PRO IGAR (S) .
According to the PRO, the troopers also handed over a sewing machine to the surviving family member of a fallen soldier in Churachandpur district with the objective to support the families of fallen soldiers.
Eight water storage tanks, each with a capacity of 2000 litres, were also distributed to the locals of Nongren village in Imphal East district and a variety of sports items, including volleyballs, footballs, football shoes, gloves, badminton rackets, shuttlecocks and other indoor sports equipment, were provided to the local populace of Nongada, Chana, and Muirei village in Imphal East and Ukhrul districts.
