Preview show of 'Khullaksha' held

Imphal, May 17 2022: The preview show of Khullaksha', a Manipuri digital film based on crime against women and domestic violence and its effect on society, was held at the preview hall of MSFDS, Palace Gate here on Tuesday.

The film will be released in the theatres on June 4 .

The story, screenplay and direction of the 1-hour 33-minute-long film are by Seityajit BK.

This is his fourth film after Keishal', 'Chaphu' and 'Taibang Keithel'.

Produced by Varun Elang bam, the cast includes of Bobo, Lai Tomsha, Priyogopal, Gita, Prem Sharma, Melori, Belondi, Bila Ngathem, and Prasanth.

DOP is by Tarun Wang and Arun Moirangthem, with Biku as editor and music by Tenao HD.

Over 90 percent of the shooting was done in Khwairamband Ima Keithel.

The total number of working hours was 25 days.

Seityajit BK is attempting to bring out a unique story, play through the film with forceful visualisation and a strong plot, showcasing the negative impact on society due to crime against women and domestic violence, while trying to shed light on the true image of humanity.
