Successful students of Chingdai area felicitated

Kangpokpi, August 20 2021: Chingdai Area Kuki Youth Organization (CAKYO) felicitated successful Class X and XII students of Chingdai area under Saikul Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district at an event held at Chingdai Khullen.

A total of 38 students were felicitated during the event.

Minister of the felicitation ceremony, Janglet Touthang, secretary Chingdai Area Christian Fellowship, delivered exhortation speech and invoked blessing prayer for the students.

Nengboikim Haokip, d/o Songin Haokip of Chayang village, and Hoingaikim Kipgen, d/o Paokhohao Kipgen of C Zoulen, who secured highest marks in Class X and Class XII, respectively, were also felicitated on the occasion with cash rewards.

Seiginlen Doungel, education secretary CAKYO, said that the event was part of the organisation's 'educational revolution' programme to encourage students of the area.

Edufest (education festival) for students will also be organised in near future, he added.

The event was attended by members of KSO Bungpi Block, Kuki Women's Union, Bungpi Block and Bungpi Area Kuki Chiefs' Association, Manipur.
