Imphal, August 19 2013:
Expressing serious concern over the alleged 'malpractices' and 'other corrupt activities' of the so called ADC members of the State particularly in Zeliangrong areas in the name of the public, the Government of the People's Republic of Nagaland (GPRN/NSCN) Zeliangrong region has warned all ADC members to cease functioning from Imphal.
"If they really want to serve the people, let them function from their respective districts," a statement issued by Z Newmai, Regional Administrative Officer of GPRN/NSCN, Zeliangrong region said while accusing the ADC members of misappropriating a number of welfare schemes sanctioned by both the Centre and State Govts.
Sending strong warning to all members who brought land/plot in Imphal valley by 'sucking' the blood of the poor public, the GPRN/NSCN said the plot/land, big or small, will turn to their graveyard and those palatial building will turn as their memorial stone.
"Not even a single individual or family under BPL or APL has been given benefits till date since the ADC took over the DRDA and other departments," it contended, adding their tall claim of reaching the grassroots level is falsified.
The so called ADC members are enjoying life in Imphal Valley while the poor public are starving in hills, it said.
