Imphal, April 16 2015 : New Keithelmanbi Development Association (NKDA) has appealed to the higher authorities to inquire about the RTI filled in Senapati District regarding the works and funds of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) .

A press release by NKDA Secretary, Yengkhom Kunjeshwor states that NKDA has submitted an RTI to the Senapati District in February 18 seeking information and facts about MGNREGS, however the DC has kept mum till date.

The said RTI was filed as MGNREGS questions the appointment of one Science Graduate teacher under Government's Education (S) Department, other anomalies in appointing work-charged employees and fund implementation under MGNREGS.

MGNREGS also claimed about non existence of 'Keithelmanbi Hemlet' at the area.
