Assam Rifles interacts with CSOs; extends aid

In continuation of its efforts to develop trust & cooperation among local populace of Nambol, maintain good relationship with the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) collectively and to accomplish ultimate goal of bringing peace and harmony in Manipur, Keithelmanbi Bat-talionof IGAR (South) organised an interaction programme with CSOs of Nambol on Wednesday.
The meet provided the platform to Assam Rifles and the CSOs to discuss all important issues including drug menace and work in harmony with Assam Rifles towards achieving common goal of peace and development.
Meanwhile, Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (South) extended medical assistance to an injured person named Lelen (36) of Tuidam village, Sangaikot Sub Division, Churachandpur at T Khongkhai COB on Wednesday.
Lelen suffered cut on his right foot after a tin sheet from of roof of his house fell all of a sudden while he was working at home.
He was brought to T Khongkhai COB for medical help where the medical team examined and immediately rendered essential medical care and stabilised his condition, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
