Noney, December 21 2018: A Mega Free Medical Camp was conducted today at Berean Baptist Academy, Khumji, Noney District under the aegis of Directorate of Health Services, Government of Manipur.

The medical camp was organized by Rongmei Naga Youth Organization Manipur (RNYOM) Longmai Luangrean as a part of the 'Rally for River movement' in close co-ordination with the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Noney to provide treatment and medicines to the villagers free of cost.

Special attention was given to skin diseases caused by the contaminated river water which was polluted by the chemical wastes dumped by Railway Construction Companies.

Several construction Companies such as Sushee Infra & Mining Ltd, Bharatia Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, and private individuals, namely, Sanjeet, Solomon Khumba came forward in aid of the event.

Several medical officers, Dermatologist, Practitioners, Pharmacists, staff Nurses, ASHA facilitator rendered their services in the camp.

Around 400 Patients were treated and free medicines distributed during the camp.

RNYOM Longmai Luangrean appreciated valuable services extended by the doctors, staff nurses and selfless individuals in making the event a grand success.
