Imphal, October 03 2018: Thadou Students' Association has appealed the Government to extend last date of submission of application forms for recruitment of Tribal Language Lecturers for Government Higher Secondary Schools.

A memorandum seeking extension of the last date has been submitted to Chief Secretary Dr J Suresh Babu, said a statement of TSA issued by its secretary general Michael Lamjathang Haokip today.

Due to limited information circulation and publicity, many interested and eligible candidates from the far flung places in the hill districts could not submit their forms on July, 27, asserted the association in their memorandum.

It requested 'fair and sufficient time' for eligible tribal candidates to submit their applications for the posts and said that it will resort to intense agitations if the Government fails to hear its plea.
