Imphal, March 17 2015: Laishram Mani Goura Sangeet Akademy, Thoubal Wangkhem, in coordination with Mayengbam Manihar and family organized the 55th Touring programme of Sat Sanga, Shankritan and Dharma discussion on March 16, at Wabagai Awang Leikai Mandap.

Mayengbam Manihar and Kangabam (o) Thasana graced the program as president and Guest of Honour respectively.

Delivering the keynote address, National Youth Project Trust Member, Laishram Bijoykumar emphasized on respecting each other's religion and woes of Manipuri people outside the state in explaining their race and the outsiders' conception of a Manipuri as Nepali.

Kangabam (o) Thasana in her speech stated that various issues faced by women are due to downfall of religion and such academic awareness program is a 'wake-up call'.

Adding to the statement, former MLA of Wabgai A/C, M.Manihar said that downfall of religion could be stopped only by avoiding drugs, said a press release by Akademy A, S Tomba.
