Imphal, October 23 2012: Churachandpur District Students' Union (CDSU) has appreciated strict enforcement of Traffic Rules & Regulations under the efficient/innovative leadership of Jacintha Lazarus, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, and L.Mangkhogin Haokip, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Churachandpur.

In a statement, the student body noted that there has been an improvement in the traffic movement in the district, appealed to the general public to extend maximum co-operation so as to ensure 'road safety' and reduce 'traffic congestion' in the second largest town in Manipur.

The student body also contemplated more innovative efforts/mechanisms from the Administration and the Police Department for the overall growth and development of the district.
