Imphal, February 09 2014: The State Conference of Maiba-Maibi was organized by Apunba Manipur Maiba-Maibi Phurup (Manipur State Traditional Healers Association) under the sponsorship of Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Department of Bio-technology, Government of India at the conference hall of IBSD, Takyelpat here today.

The inaugural function of the conference was attended by Padmashree Laishram Nabakishore Singh, advisor of AMMMP; N Tombi Raj, president of AMMMP and Dr Sudripta Das, Scientist-E and Chairman of IMC, IBSD as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.

As part of the conference, a scientific session was also conducted.
