UTLA observes 6th Reformation Day

Jiribam, November 04 2015: The SK Thadou group of United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) observed its 6th Reformation day Cum Cultural Festival on Wednesday at its designated camp at Paniel Peace camp, Leisangphai, Muktokhal under Tousem sub-division, Tamenglong district.

During the reformation observation, cadres of SK Thadou group of UTLA paid tributes to departed cadres and leaders of their group and presented gifts to the families of the departed soldiers.

The Reformation programme was attended by social activist Angam and Chief of Tatbung village Pu Hemkhojang Lenthang as Chief Guest and Functional President respectively while Maj Anandraj, 27th Assam Rifles, Kaiphundai village as Chief Host and Kimneikhol Khongsai, President, Mahilla BJP Women Wing along with Pu Jangsat Haokip, President, KIJT; Pu J Thangboi, General Secretary KSO Jiribam and Tamenglong as Guests of Honour.

Addressing the public gathering, Chairman of UTLA, SK Thadou called all people for co-operations in maintaining peace and tranquility and conveyed his desire to declare areas under the UTLA/ UTLF dominion peace zone.
