Union minister of DoNER and Panchayati Raj Shanker Aiyer who was scheduled to arrive here Saturday in Imphal on his two day visit in the state has deferred till tomorrow, official said.
The official source said that he will arrived tomorrow morning.
Except the scheduled meeting to review the progress of works under BRGF at secretariat conference hall, South Block which was planned this evening with state officials in which DCs of Churachandpur, Chandel and Tamenglong where the BRGF programmes are implementing are to take part, there were no change in other programmes on his visit.
As per scheduled the Union minister fly to Moreh to inspect the infrastructure development works at the Trade Centre, LCS and ICP there at Integrated Customs complex and after return from the border town, he will attend foundation stone lying ceremony for the construction of Inter-state Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Khuman Lampak at 9.30 am.
Mani Shanker Aiyer is now currently staying in Shillong to attend a meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC).
He will fly to imphal from there and landed at Imphal Tulihal Airport by the special helicopter of the Indian Air Force tomorrow morning.
The Union DoNER minister will fly to Moreh by the same helicopter he was transported to Moreh as soon as arfied in Imphal and visit the Trade Centre, LCS and ICP site there.
