Weaving & embroidery training concludes

Kakching, January 19 2014 :
A 6-month long Residential Skill Training on Weaving and embroidery organised by Rural Education and Action for Change Manipur (REACH-M) in collaboration with All Tribal Women Organisation (ATWO) under the sponsorship of Border Area Development Programme (BADP) concluded at the resource training hall of REACH-M located at Nungourok Village in Chandel District on January 18 .
Deputy Commissioner of Chandel Th.Chittaranjan Singh, who attended the Valedictory Function as Chief Guest, distributed certificates to all the 30 women trainees who completed the training programme successfully.
Most of the trainees were from border villages.
The valedictory function was also attended by M.Moses Maring, President of NGO Forum Chandel and M.Modhuchandra, Research Assistant in District Planning, Chandel as Functional President and Guest of Honour respectively.
