Imphal, July 05 2015 : In connection with the Vanmahotsav week 2015 saplings were planted on Sunday morning at Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching under the initiative of Alliance for Development Alternatives Manipur (ADAM), Kakching led by its President Prof.N Rajmohon.

It has been said that the plantation programme will continue till August 13 with a special plantation programme to mark the Patriots Day.

Groups, families or educational institutions who wish to take part in the said Plantation Programme could contact Secretary, ADAM at least 1 week prior to the proposed date and would be grateful if the willing participants bring their own plant saplings preferably indigenous plant species, said Secretary ADAM.

Appeal was also made to all concerned to give a helping hand in protecting and conserving the various indigenous plants and trees found in this park.
