Bishnupur, January 25 2018: With a view to fight drug abuse in the society, a one day awareness workshop on drug was held at Moirangkhunou Keithel, Bishnupur district today.

Meira Lups and local clubs around Moirangkhunou joined hands to organise the programme, reports our correspondent.

The event was attended by Moirang Khunou Gram Panchayat Pradhan L Dhaneshwor Singh, retd headmaster L Todonbi Singh, AMKIL vice president Lourembam Nganbi Leima, CADA president in charge Hijam Priyokumar, general secretary UPF, Manipur Rupachandra N as presidium members among others.

CADA Manipur finance secretary, Geetchandra Mangang, UPF Manipur general secretary Rupachandra Nongthombam and OC Keibul Lamjao police station W Ibomcha Singh spoke on steps/measures to fight drug and narcotics, as resource persons.
