Maram Battalion extends aid to orphanage

Senapati, February 24 2024: Maram Battalion distributed six solar lights along with essential items to P K Shedu Qrphanage located in Kathiko Karong village in Senapati district today.

The Battalion distributed me items as a part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, said a dress release by Assam Rifles.

The distribution ceremony marked a significant step towards enhancing the living conditions and well-being of the children residing at P K Shedu Orphanage.

The provision of solar lamps ensures sustainable access to light, empowering the orphanage to overcome electricity challenges and providing a conducive environment for education and daily activities.

In addition to the solar lights, the Maram Battalion also provided essential rations to supplement the nutritional requirements of the children thereby further contributing to their health and overall development.

The Commanding Officer of Maram Battalion, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community and reiterated the Battalion's unwavering commitment to fostering positive change and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
