Suspects in Kumud killing nabbed

Imphal, May 31 2013 :
The remaining three suspects in the killing of truck driver Kumud Ali from Assam have been arrested by the police along with the missing goods today.
Kumud Ali was killed after he was kidnapped from MM Hotel located at Sekmai along with his goods-laden truck bearing registration number AS 01-CC 2206 on May 9 .
The arrested persons have been identified as Md Abdul Samad alias Khamba (32), s/o (late) Md Abdul Salam of Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Md Kora, s/o Md Pishak of Irong Makha Leikai and Md Hesamuddin (35), s/o (late) Md Akur of Mayang Imphal Bengoon Awang Leikai.
Abdul Samad is a bus driver who was involved in the transportation of goods looted from Kumud Ali while Kora and Hesamuddin are the handymen of the bus operated by Abdul.
The registration number of their bus is MN 05/1173 .
According to police, the goods were recovered from the rented house of Md Najir (40), s/o Md Abdul Haque of Hatta Golapati today afternoon.
The recovered goods were 153 cartons of potato chips and snacks.
They were reportedly kept at the house by one Md Sanayai and some of his associates on May 10 .
The main suspect Md Amit Khan was earlier arrested by the police along with the truck on May 29 .
