Mask of AR removed: RPF

Imphal, January 14 2013: The proscribed, Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has come up with 'evidences' indicating involvement of AR authorities in recruitment of youths in certain UG groups to take part in 'surrender drama' .

In a statement released by its Secretary Publicity Robert Khuman along with attached Bio-Data forms of Military Defense Force (MDF) which have places for the signature of Company Commander of 42 Assam Rifles, RPF asserted that a number of UG cadres recruited in this fashion have been made to take part in the surrender dramas of the Indian Army before the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police of the State.

This clearly shows the hidden agenda of the AR authorities in trying to suppress the revolutionary movement, the RPF statement added.

"The evidences thus brought out have clearly shown the deceitful role played by the AR authorities against the people of Manipur and there is no way for them to cover up their faults and run away from the people", the statement said. RPF also questioned what action that Home Ministr Gaikhangam is to take up now that he had made a bold statement maintaining that stern action would be taken up against anyone found involved in the staging 'surrender dramas' .

RPF also appreciated the role of the people of Heirok in standing up against such despicable act of the Assam Rifles and appealed to the people of the State for support in giving befitting reply to the unwanted conducts of the military forces.
