Kamjong, April 08 2024: Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organized 'A Day with Company Commander' at Aishi in Kamjong district.

The event saw an enthusiastic participation by 20 local villagers and students from Aishi, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

The locals were familarized with the organizational structure and functioning of Assam Rifles.

An interactive tour of the Company Operating Base was also organized for the students.

The highlight of the program was the series of games and activities that was conducted for the children.

The event was conducted with an aim to foster relationship and enhance cooperation between Assam Rifles, villagers and the budding youths.

The Assam Rifles has displayed its commitment towards the youths of the society and guiding the children towards their future commitments.

The local villagers and students expressed their gratitude for organising such an educative and recreational activities amidst the prevailing unrest and tensed situation in the State, said the statement.
