Imphal, July 25 2020: The All Manipur Nupi Marup (AMNM) has expressed concern over the panic buying and price inflation post imposition of lockdown on July 23, stating that it has affected the economically backward families.

ANMN in its statement said that although the CM through social media had promised to provide essential commodities to the people during this lockdown period, it has not translated into action till date.

It is also a declared fact by WHO that people with low immune system and those suffering from mental illness are likely to be more affected by the disease, it stated and added that daily wagers and economically backward families are unable to meet these food/health requirements.
