Imphal, December 07 2014:
The monthlong workshop cum production of traditional and folk arts of Manipur (Khubak Esei and Pena) organized by Harimati Dance and Music Centre Imphal came to a close today.
Former Asst Director of All India radio Imphal B Jayantakumar Sharma and President of the Harimati Dance and Music Centre Imphal attended the closing programme as chief guest and president respectively.

In his speech, Chief Guest Jayantakumar stated that we need to study whether the Khubak Esei is one of the folk arts of Manipur.
Khubak Esei exist in two forms � one for females and another for males.
