Biswajit inaugurates photo exhibition displaying achievements of NDA Government in 4 vrs

Information and Public Relations Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh inaugurated a five days long photo exhibition on Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas (4 years achievements of NDA Government) at INA memorial hall, Moirang today.
The photo exhibition was organized by Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, GoI.
The exhibition aims to sensitize the public regarding various programmes and policies of the Central Government and at the same time to highlight the achievements of the Government.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Biswajit stated that the Government is putting its focus on youth as they are the future pillar of the society.
As it is impossible to provide white collar jobs to all, "Start up Policy" was launched for the educated unemployed youth to start up their own business, he said and added that increasing number of entrepreneurs will definitely decrease the number of unemployment in the State.
Biswajit also explained various Central sponsored schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PMAY(G), Saubhagaya scheme etc.
He also lauded the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for organising such kind of exhibition and urged to organize such exhibitions at every nook and corner of the State.
Keeping in mind the welfare of the people, the Government will be launching flying doctor service to cater to patients at far flung areas, the Minister added.
He further stated that helicopter services will also be launched at the earliest to access remote areas of Manipur.
Minister also sought cooperation from the people in taking up developmental works.
The photo exhibition displayed various Central and State sponsored programmes and highlighted the achievements of the Government.
The inaugural session of the exhibition was attended by MLA Moirang AC P Saratchandra Singh, Additional Director General (Region) Ministry of Information and Broadcasting SK Malviya and locals of Moirang and students among others.
