CWSNs must be allowed to live life to the fullest: Radhakumar

Deputy Commissioner of Imphal West K Radhakumar has said that children with special needs (CWSNs) are like any other normal children who are capable of doing wonderful things and so they must be allowed to live life to the fullest without any inferiority complex.
He was speaking as Chief Guest on the occasion of distributing tricycles, white canes, Braille scripts and other aids to children with special needs under Sarva Shikshya Abhiyan (SSA) at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
He further said that the authorities must find out the children with special needs from every nook and corner of the State and they should be provided with aids and appliances as per recommendations of the State Medical Board.

Radhakumar also appealed to the people to render utmost help and support to the children with special needs so that they can be groomed like other normal children to be the future pillars of the society. The function was also attended by Additional District Project Coordinator of SSA, Imphal West Biramangol and Assistant State Coordinator Joyrani B .
