Multi Level Marketing (MLM) scheme likely to become national issue

Investors of the whole country including investors from this state who had invested their hard earned money to Multi Level Marketing (MLM) schemes of Best Genius Limited, a Malaysian based company is likely to reach the ears of the national leaders making it a national issue.
Highly placed official sources reveals that a committee by the name MLM Investors Protection Committee, India, with its head office in Assam is going to stage a sit in protest in New Delhi.
A meeting of all the members, individuals and organizations coming from different parts of the country will be held on August 2 .
On August 3, a sit in protest will be staged in New Delhi organized by MLM Investors Protection Committee, India.
Efforts will be made to meet M Veerappa Moily, Central Minister for Corporate Affairs, New Delhi.
Union Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, said Uttam Kumar Chetia, Chief Convener of MLM Investors Protection Committee, India.
He further said that the issue will also be discussed with the Leader of Opposition as well as all the leaders of different political parties of the country.
A memorandum will also be submitted to the Malaysian High Commissioner in India on August 3 .
Regarding the proposed agitation which will take place on August 3, a formal invitation to take part in the agitation has been delivered to the all the investors of the states, said Ranjit Sharma, Chairman of Victimised Investors Union, Manipur.
He further said that 30 persons from the state sponsored by Victimised Investors Union Under Agent Code AI-033 Taurus, Imphal and Committee on Victims on Visarev Investment are going to participate in the protest.
A memorandum has also been submitted to the three MPs of Manipur to lend a helping hand in the proposed agitation.
The Malaysian based UNIGROUP of Companies who cheated the poor investors of India amounting to crores of rupees should be dealt with severely by the Indian government and consider it as a serious issue.
Talking to Hueiyen Lanpao, Ranjit further said that people who have invested their hard earned money in various MLM networks namely Unipay 2 U, Visarev, Unigold 2 U and Unipay 2 U International has been suffering for the last 10 months.
It may be mentioned that a petitioner, Premananda had filed a case against various Agents and persons involve in collecting money from investors in court and CJM Imphal West had ordered for a probe into the case.
