Blankets distributed

Under the funding of Society for Bright Future New Delhi and as a winter gift, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch distributed one blanket each to 70 poor people from different places, today.
The programme held at Santhel Awang Leikai under Kakching District was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch organiser, Abdul Helim; Abdul Kadir of Ameer-e-Mukam Santhel and Jamaat-e-Islami Manipur, asst organiser Moulana Riyaz Khan as the presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Abdul Helim said that the blankets were distributed as part of "Winter Relief Project" of Society for Bright Future New Delhi.
The project aimed at spreading the message of love and peace to all the communities residing in the country, he added.
The blankets were distributed to 70 poor people from Uchiwa, Hayel, Uchiwa Kabui, Heibongmakhong, Khelakhong Loukok, Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Uchiwa Nastao, Santhel, Hangoon and Konuma Phoubakchao.
