Many join hands against drugs and global warming

Kangpokpi, April 26 2017: Molnoi Youth Club in Leikot area under Saitu-Gamphazol sub-division in Kangpokpi district organized 'Youth day' where a massive tree plantation was also organized and hundreds of saplings were planted in the area today.

Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi T Ranjit Singh (IAS) who graced the occasion as chief guest with Coordinator of NYK Kangpokpi district S Gourokishore Singh, National president, Master of Athletic of India B Angousana Sharma (Retd) and Post Commander of 38th AR Motbung Mojor Vinod Kumar along with other dignitaries also planted a sapling each to commemorate the event.

Manipuri film star and social worker RK Kaiku, senior actress Manda and Gurumayum Bonny Sharma, who attended the event for eradication of drugs, also took part in the plantation to encourage the innovative move of Molnoi Youth Club.
