ZTKL General Conference begins in Ukhrul

Ukhrul, April 16 2015 : The 30th General Conference of Zingtun Tangkhul Katamnao Long (ZTKL) began Wednesday evening with MLA 44 Ukhrul Samuel Risom gracing the opening ceremony as Chief Guest at Seikhor village in western Ukhrul.

The chief guest Risom extended warm greetings to the student community, especially ZTKL members while unfurling the flag of the general conference being held under the theme ' Change Master' .

Retired Chief Justice WA Shishak spoke on various aspects of the theme 'Change Master' espousing the call for a paradigm shift in the realm of development.

The conference torch was lit up by Peimingam Muinao and R Semmiwon while Retired Manipur Judicial Service and former ZTKL president NG Max Phazang unveiled the monolith.

The opening ceremony was attended by TNL president V Weapon Zimik local pastor Rev Yangmi Shaiza and Seikhor Headman ZV Mingthing among others.

The conference will continue till April 20 .
