MAYOL continues campaign

Imphal, April 08 2024: In continuation of its ongoing poster & mass awareness campaign titled "Vote for National Regeneration", Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) organised public meetings at different places on Monday.

According to a release issued by MAYOL, the Youth League in collaboration with All Phumlou Apunba Nupi Lup organised a meeting at Phumlou Community Hall.

It was attended by ERDO secretary Nahakpam Shanta, advocate Thokchom Suresh and MAYOL general secretary Laishram James as speakers.

Another meeting was also held at Thanga Chinglak Bazar in Bishnupur district organised by MAYOL in collaboration with local clubs & Meira Paibis of the area.

LIPUL advisor Puyam Joy and MAYOL president Ashem Prince attended the meeting as speakers.

At the meetings, the gathering resolved to refrain from accepting bribes from political candidates, stop participating in poll festivities including feasts and election rallies/ roadshows, avoid proxy voting, eradicate the trend of using muscle power to induce voters and uphold one's Right to Vote.

Earlier in the morning, members of MAYOL distributed booklets & leaflets to the public and women vendors at Khwairamband Ima Keithel.
