Chief Minister N Biren Singh has greeted the people of the State, especially the working class, on the occasion of International Workers' Day.
The Chief Minister said that the day symbolises the victory of the working class in their struggle to have 8 hours work per day and on such an occasion, all should pay tribute and respect to workers and their contribution towards making the people's live easier.
Pointing out that it is time to acknowledge the important contributions of the working class in the development and economic growth of the countrry, the Chief Minister urged the people to commit towards upholding and strengthening the spirit of the labour class and contribute to the progress of the State and the country.
Education Minister Th Radheshyam also greeted the working class people of the State on the occasion and appealed to the people to cooperate and stand united for a sustainable and economically viable State and country as a whole.
