L Molsang glorifies 25 years of God's blessing

Villagers of L Molsang, one of the displaced villages in the alleged NSCN-IM's coordinate attacked on the innocent Kukis in 1993, glorified God's blessing for giving another 25 years to live after the alleged brutal attacked.
The God's glorification ceremony was graced by Seimang Khongsai president Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills as chief guest while Thangminlen Kipgen president KSO Sadar Hills and Paolet Kipgen chief of Bolsang attended as guest of honour and functional president respectively.
Haominlen Khongsai president Baptist Bible College of India attended as Minister apart from various village chiefs, CSOs leaders, church leaders, etc while daughters of the village who were married in other places also turned up to join their parents in glorifying the God's blessing.
Prominent Kuki Gospel artiste Hoineilam Haokip also participated in Glorifying the God's blessing programme where she sang the song composed for the displaced L Molsang village which is now settled in Kangpokpi District along the NH-2 in the uphill areas near Bimparao.
A monolith was erected as mark of glorifying and thanksgiving to the Almighty which was significantly unveiled by Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills president Seikhomang Khongsai as chief guest while it was dedicated by the Haominlen Khongsai.
A book containing the details history of L Molsang was also published by the organizing committee to commemorate 25 years of God's blessing after the alleged NSCN-IM's coordinate attacked in 1993 and it was released by Paolet Kipgen chief of Bolsang village.
Robert Hekai Kipgen editor of monthly magazine 'Jingvalpa' who is also a villager of L Molsang said that we are observing the day to recall the hard time and grievances we have faced during and after the attacked and to glorify God for his abundant blessing for the past 25 years after displacing from our villages.
He also said that we were in a position to be killed but God had protected us and guided us here to restore our displaced village where we can start a new life and added that many of the villagers could now become a very responsible person in the society.
"We are not killed and up rooted because of misdeed but only because of being Kuki", asserted Robert Hekai while adding that for that matter we invited the Kuki Inpi and KSO president to grace the occasion.
Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills president Seikhomang Khongsai said that we have not left our village on our own will but we are forcefully uprooted and this' is the reason we could not remain silent while adding that the mass observation of Sahnit Ni (Kuki Black Day) is not a mere observation but a demand of justice for the victims, uprooted villages and displaced innocent Kuki people.
"Justice could not be denied long, it will definitely prevail soon", asserted Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills president while adding that we need to unite and stand together.
KSO Sadar Hills president said it is very fortunate to witness that we have already overcome our hard time and in a position to observe the God's blessing and glorify him while motivating the people of L Molsang to go forward for the welfare of the society as a whole.
Later, a grand feast also marked the occasion.
