Imphal, April 16 2015 : The 71st anniversary of INA flag hoisting at Moirang was observed on April 14 at INA Martyrs Memorial Complex, Moirang.

The programme was organised by Dept of Art and Culture, Manipur in association with INA Advisory Committee, Moirang, according to a statement.

Mairembam Prithviraj, Parliamentary Secretary; Gopal Singh, ex-MLA, Air Vice Marshal HP Singh, Col MC Gandhi; Retd Col RK Rajendra Singh and Brig Govind Mishra attended the function as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

Besides launching a web-site www.inamoirang.com, the chief guest also released a book titled INA Through the Lens of History.

Delegates from different parts of the country too attended the function, it added.
