LPG price hiked

Following a revision of the LPG price by the Government of India, retail sales price (RSP) of LPG for the month of May has been hiked.
According to information received from Indian Oil Corporation Limited, RSP of subsidised LPG refills of 14.2 Kgs has been hiked by Rs 6 while the RSP of non-subsidised LPG refills of 19 Kgs has been increased by Rs 21.50.RSP of LPG refills of 14.2 Kgs has been hiked by Rs 6 not only at Imphal but also at Guwahati, Aizawl, Itanagar, Shillong, Kohima and Agartala.
Likewise, RSP of LPG refills of 19 Kgs has been hiked by Rs 21.50 at all State capitals of the North East region except Kohima and Shillong where the RSP has been raised by Rs 21.In line with the rise in RSP, subsidy given by Government on LPG refills has also been raised.
The subsidy has been raised by Rs 5.71 at all State capitals of the North East except Imphal where the subsidy has been raised by Rs 5.72.As per the new RSP, one LPG refill of 14.2 Kgs would cost Rs 850.50 while LPG refill of 19 Kgs would cost Rs 1610.50 and these prices are inclusive of home delivery charge.
Notably, LPG refills of 14.2 Kgs and 19 Kgs cost Rs 844.50 and 1589 at Imphal last month.
