Road connectivity to Myanmar ready

Imphal, March 17 2015: With road connectivity between Myanmar and Manipur ready, the way has been cleared for movement of people between India and Myanmar.

To travel to Myanmar, intending travellers will have to seek special land entry permission and tourist visa from Myanmar Government.

Application to get the permit must be submitted at least 15 days ahead and the permission will be valid for 28 days.

In connection with this, five representatives of M/S KB Enterprises met top ranking officials of Myanmar from March 4 to 12 .

Following this 10 persons left for Myanmar on March 16 .

Moreover another group of tourists will be proceeding for Myanmar on April 12 to participate in the Water Festival there.

Applications for the special land entry permission can be submitted at the office of KB Enterprises till March 23 .
