Imphal, December 09 2015: In yet another road accident along the Trans Asian Highway No 1 between Kangpokpi and Changoubung under Kangpokpi police station, an LPG bullet met with an accident this morning at around 7.30 .

No.MN01-6153 is said to have met the accident due to brake fail while heading towards Imphal from Dimapur.

The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries on his legs while no other casualty has been reported in the accident.

It is worth mentioning that few months back at the same spot a loaded truck met a similar accident and the driver was killed in the incident.

With the coming of Christmas season the Trans Asian Highway No.1 is witnessing heavy traffic flow.
