AMVDFWN decides not to participate in blood donation

Imphal, March 22 2015: All Manipur VDF Welfare Association (AMVDFWN) has decided to abstain from participating in the Blood Donation programme as per District SP's order on March 15 .

The association said the decision was taken as a part of the ongoing 'Arm Down Strike' .

The association will be holding a Mass Blood Donation programme, once their demands are met and District SP will be responsible for any untoward incidents as a result of forceful donation.

The association further expressed dismay with the Government's silence as their demands are not even considered for a mutual discussion.

The members claimed that the Govern-ment has been sideling the issue , said a press release by the association's general secretary.

The VDF association further appealed all civil organizations and meira paibies to support the strike.
