Senapati, October 23 2012:
Draining out their patience even after repeated reminders to repair the much acclaimed state border road which is in deplorable condition of the TT Laii Road in Senapati district, the Laii circle villages organized a month long social works on their own initiatives to repair the said road.
Coming out strongly against the lethargic attitude of the state PWD to develop such state assets, the circle villages have warned that such failures of the government will only widen good relations between the government and the people.
Meanwhile, the circle union has expressed its appreciation and acknowledgement to its present local MLA L.Dikho for intervening into the matter and availing assistance to make the road motorable.
The circle village has also expresses their co-operation and support to their local MLA in future endeavors.
According to Laii Circle Union, the Tadubi, Tungjoy Laii road which also connects Nagaland state remained neglected by former legislators and the concerned department since many years.
