Kpi mothers extend help to underprivileged

Kangpokpi, December 15 2019:
In connection with the upcoming Christmas celebration, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization (KWWO) has extended help to 20 impoverished individuals from Kangpokpi DHQs.
One poor and a differently-abled person could not help herself from smiling and clapping her hands during Christmas Charity as the organisation provides her clothes and financial assistance.
Another differently-abled person among also could not control her emotion and broke down heavily while receiving the aid from Kangpokpi mothers during the function.
Among many other, these two episodes of joyfulness make everyone present in the function emotional.
Earlier, KWWO had organised a mass donation drive within Kangpokpi DHQs as a Christmas Charity for the poor and needy people of the town.
The idea initiated by Women Affairs in-charge of Kangpokpi Town Committee, Seijang Sitlhou, to motivate the downtrodden denizens of the town was executed by the Kangpokpi mothers.
All the individuals were provided financial assistance along with clothing and others winter needs to brave the winter chill during Christmas celebration in the town.
Kangpokpi Town Committee Chairman, Lunseh Kipgen; Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship Chairman, Rev K Hangshing; KTC members and other distinguished persons from the town attended the function.
After handing over the aid by KTC Chairman and KTCF Chairman, Rev K Hangshing prayed for the wellbeing of the poor populace of the town.
Seijang Sitlhou also encouraged the poor people to rely on the elected members of Kangpokpi Town Committee when faced any difficulties or problems.
