Imphal, July 31 2014: After being informed about some individuals indulging in intoxicating drinks in the Directorate Complex, the Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) team led by Khullakpam Serajuddin today raided the Account Section of the Directorate of Education office in Lamphelpat around 4.30pm.Speaking to reporters, MSF President, Khullakpam Serajuddin stated that when they raided the office, the team found 7 to 8 office staff and non-office staff inside the room number 44, Account Section, indulging in intoxicating liquor.

Serajuddin said that when the individuals saw the MSF team, they threw eatables and disposable cups filled with liquor and water and managed to escaped leaving behind two LDC identity cards.

He further added that MSF had collaborated with various State Government's schools, colleges, educational institutions for the academic campaign entitled, "Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi" and to come across the staff of an educational office indulging in such activities have contradict the meaning of the campaign.
