Imphal, June 28 2013 : Supreme Court Judge Madan B Lokur today inaugurated a three-day advocacy skill training programme at Manipur High Court complex.

The programme is being organised by Manipur State Legal Services Authority.

Speaking at the programme, Madan B Lokur stressed on the need for maintaining good rapport between common people and lawyers.

He also expressed hope that the programme would impart in-depth knowledge on legal proceedings to the participants.

The Supreme Court Judge also emphasised on the significance of knowledge sharing among lawyers which is helpful in delivering justice to the rightful person in every case.

He also mentioned about the need for taking keen interests in such programmes by lawyers.

Manipur High Court Chief Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, who is also the Patron-in-Chief of MSLSA, Manipur High Court Judge and MSLSA Executive Chairman N Kotiswar, Delhi High Court Judge Sanjeev Sachdeva and Advocate General of Manipur, Th Ibohal also attended the programme.
