At the mass membership enrollment programme, Sapam Kunjeshore submitted filled-in membership forms of 1000 people to Th Chaoba.
In response, Tapir Gao announced that S Kunjeshore has been appointed BJP State unit executive member.
An order copy this effect was also handed over to him.
Later addressing the public meeting, Tapir Gao stressed on the need for administrative overhaul in the country.
The only person capable of such an overhaul is BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
He is the man who can address the misery suffered by the poor across the country.
Launching a scathing attack against the Ibobi-led Congress Government of Manipur, Tapir Gao said that the incumbent Government has gone beyond limits in terms of corruption and graft practices.
There is misrule everywhere and a closer analysis of the corruption trend reveals that the situation deserves establishment of an open university for corruption.
Both the Congress Government of Manipur and Centre have been indulging in corruption exceedingly.
In case BJP-led NDA comes to power at the Centre after the Lok Sabha election, some Congress leaders and Chief Ministers would be dragged out from their air conditioned rooms and sent to prisons, asserted the BJP leader.
Although Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is a distinguished economist of the country, he is unable to control prices of essential commodities.
Whereas petrol is available at Rs 50 per litre in neighbouring countries, it is sold above Rs 70 per litre in the country.
Prices of all essential commodities would be kept stable and under control in case BJP comes to power, he claimed.
When China encroached upon the territory of Arunachal Pradesh, people of Arunachal Pradesh stood up collectively and defeated the same design.
But in the case of Manipur, large tracts of land have been handed over to Myanmar by the Congress Government without approval of the Parliament.
People need to study these two contrasting situations and be always vigilant, Tapir Gao asserted.
BJP State vision document co-chairman Dr RK Ranjan said that Congress party is unable to take even moral responsibility even though they are in power.
All India BJP Industries cell general secretary Oinam Indira boasted that BJP can certainly defeat Congress candidates.
BJP would wrest both the Parliamentary seats of Manipur from the hands of Congress, she said.
