Imphal, June 27 2019:
As invited by BJP Central leaders, Chief Minister N Biren, Agriculture Minister V Hangkhanlian and Education Minister Th Radheshyam will leave Imphal for Delhi tomorrow.
Sources informed that the Chief Minister and his Cabinet Ministers have been called to Delhi in connection with the political crisis besieging the State's coalition Government since the past two weeks or so.
While BJP National general secretary Bhupender Yadav was recently tasked to resolve the crisis, many Ministers and MLAs have been camping at Delhi demanding a change of leadership.

According to the sources, the crisis is most likely to be resolved before the BJP Manipur Pradesh executive council meeting scheduled on July 6.Meanwhile, a Cabinet meeting held today resolved to set up a State level committee which would monitor purchase and sale of land.
As agreed earlier, the Cabinet meeting also decided to deposit employees' GPF in their accounts from 2019 and start payment of salaries to the scales recommended by the 7th Central Pay Commission from April 2020 .
Even though the Cabinet meeting adopted several resolutions, it was attended by only six/seven Ministers as told by Chief Minister N Biren to reporters.
Speaking to media persons at the end of a meeting with elected members of Panchayati Raj Institutions on harvesting rain water which followed the Cabinet meeting, N Biren said two/three Cabinet Ministers are currently at Delhi after taking leave from the State Government.
Their absence did not affect the Cabinet meeting in any manner, Biren maintained.
Some of the Cabinet Ministers staying at Delhi are seeking visa for travelling to the USA, a few others are there for medical treatment, he said.
Biren said that he too would leave Imphal for Delhi tomorrow and come back on Sunday after meeting Central leaders on political and development matters of the State.
Notably, some BJP Ministers and MLAs are still camping at Delhi demanding replacement of Chief Minister N Biren and the political crisis has been dragging on since the past fortnight.
Regarding the Cabinet decision to set up a State level committee, Biren stated that the committee would ensure protection of land and effective implementation of the Manipur Conservation of Paddyland & Wetland Act 2014.The committee is also a preemptive measure related to the State's security and law and order situation.
Due order for establishment of the committee would be issued today itself, said the Chief Minister.
All applications and relevant documents submitted for registration of purchase and sale of land would be minutely examined by the committee.
Without approval of the committee, registration of purchase or sale of land will not be allowed.
It further decided to adopt Revision of Pay (ROP) 2019 in place of ROP 2010 which is currently in practice.
The State Cabinet agreed on classification of Government posts as per the Central Government norms.
As decided at the Cabinet meeting today, the Manipur Legislature Removal of Disqualification Act 1972 would be amended by replacing the words 'Advisor to CM' by the words 'Advisor to CM and Ministers'.
Moreover, Imphal International Airport would be officially renamed as Bir Tikendrajit International Airport and existing ban on appointing the Chairperson of the State Consumer Redressal Forum would be lifted.
These are some resolutions adopted at the Cabinet meeting.
