Mapao Zingsho village brought locally grown vegetables for the families inside containment zone in areas under Sambei Youth Club today.
The area under Sambei Youth Club in Imphal Saikul road was declared a containment zone after 96 locals were found to be COVID-19 positive.
The declaration of containment zone had affected about 80 families.
In view of this, Mapao Zingsho village is about 5 kms from Sambei came forth and presented locally grown vegetable like banana stems, mukthrubi, usingja, heibra, moirangkhanam, ginger, indian pennywort (peruk), loklei-pulei etc.
to the families affected inside the containment zone.
Sambei Youth Club thanked the villagers of Mapao Zingsho for standing by with them in times of need further strengthening the bond of unity between them.

KKKL extends assistance
Khundrakpam Kendra Kanba Lup (KKKL) distributed relief materials at Containment Zone in Pourabi.
Convenor of KKKL and Pradhan of Khundrakpam Panchayat, Electro@Ibochou said the relief item distribution was carried out in Khundrakpam AC with a view to assist the locals during such times of need.
E Amitkumar distributes essential items
E Amitkumar, proprietor Lamyanba Enterprises and Kachathol distributed relief items to 109 families in and around containment zone in Hiyanglam and Lamjao.
He also inspected the need of CHIC opened at Wabagai High School and extended financial assistance to the centre.
K Manoranjan takes up relief work
K Manoranjan, president, Apana Dal (Sonelal) distributed essential items at containment zones in Konjeng Leikai and Mongshangei area in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC today.
Students Welfare Committee distributes vegetables
Students Welfare Committee, Thongju Phejaleitong distributed vegetables to 350 families in areas cover by the committee today.
Intending candidate from Thongju AC, Preshyojit Sanglakpam provided an Oxygen cylinder to a person with breathing problems in Ningomthong Nongmeikapam community who has not been confirmed for COVID-19 .

Joint Forest Management Committee, Iroishemba also distributed relief materials to some families affected by Covid in Iroishemba area today.
