SALAI Holdings Pvt Ltd, has declared that the company has no relation whatsoever with the statements made by its former founder director and chairman Narengbam Samarjit regarding separation of Manipur from India, which have gone viral on social media.
The company also clarified that it's policies and programmes have no relation with Samarjit's statements as well.
Speaking to media persons at the company office at Sagolband Tera Loukrakpam Leirak today, its vice chairman Elangbam Brojendro said that the Board of Director, sitting and non-sitting Board of Directors have decided to remove Samarjit from the list of Directors and to restructure its administration immediately.
They have also decided to inform the Register of Company, Shillong and other related Departments regarding the same, he said.
Stating that there are plans to establish various units of SALAI Holdings Pvt Ltd, Brojendro admitted that the investors of the company are fearing that the company might break up.
Replying to a query by media persons regarding who will handle responsibility if the company gets dissolved, the vice chairman said that even if founder director and chairman was Samarjit, the company operates as per the regulations of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
There are still other Board of Directors and the company will continue to operate normally, he clarified, appealing the people not to panic.
He further informed that the parameters of the company can be viewed by anyone at MCA portal and added that all minute details of the company's processes will be made public within a short amount of time.
