Saikul MLA hands over ambulance with basic life support to CHC Saikul

As a part of the initiative to ensure better and quality healthcare services and strengthen the Health Care Facilities, 46-Saikul MLA, Yamthong Haokip handed over an ambulance with Life Support System to Community Health Centre Saikul today.
The event co-ordinated by Dr Lhingneihoi Haokip and Pastor L Boilen, KRBCA, Saikul as the Dedication Minister, was held in the presence of Thangjakam Misao, ex-vice Chairman, ADC-SH; Dr J Touthang, Chief Medical Officer and Seimang Lupho, president, Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai, Kangpokpi.
It was also attended by Dr Ph Henkhoneng Mate, District Malaria Officer, Kangpokpi; Goupu Chongloi, president, KSO Saikul; Mangcha Baite, president, KSO Bungpi Area; Tonglet Chongloi, chairman, Saikul Hill Town Committee; Neinu Lupheng, president, KWU Saikul; Thangpu Kipgen, OC, Saikul Police; Line Department Officials, Church Leaders and staff of CHC Saikul.
Yamthong Haokip extended his appreciation to the healthcare workers of Saikul for performing their service diligently, even during the COVID pandemic while stressing the need to address the grievances faced by the citizens of Saikul AC during this health crisis.
He said that the Ambulance would be instrumental in boosting Covid response and assured to provide his assistance to the people.
The MLA also appealed to the Local CSOs, Government officials, Church leaders and social workers to join hands towards a coordinated effort in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local CSOs of Saikul and Bungpi area, Chief Medical Officer Kangpokpi, Ex-MDCs also expressed their gratitude to the local MLA for his assistance and support.
Dr John Lupheng, on behalf of the staff extended his heartfelt gratitude to the local MLA for his noble contribution towards the welfare of the public.
