DBSK appeals

The Manipur State Committee, Democratic Bharatiya Samaj Party (MSC/DBSK) has appealed to the State Government to revise the prices fixed for certain essentials, stating that rates are unaffordable to the peasants and poor.
A press release issued by MSC/DBSK also urged the State Government to actualise the assurance given for constructing one 100 bedded Covid hospital and convene an all-political party meeting to discuss control measures for containing the virus spread.
The committee also appealed to the people of Manipur to adhere to the SOPs for COVID-19 laid down by the Government su�h as wearing of face mask, maintenance of physical distance and washing hands regularly to avoid infections and aid in the fight against the second wave of the pandemic Which has claimed many lives.
The committee, on the other hand, stated that a number of shopkeepers/traders selling essentials at an inflated rate at these trying times is upsetting and is akin to sucking the blood of poor/daily wagers.
