Unattended car scares public

Imphal, April 28 2012:
An unattended steel colour Hyundai car today morning scared public at Kwakeithel market as people were suspicous of possible bomb plantation inside the car.
As soon as the report was delivered to the police, a team of bomb experts of Manipur police rushed at the spot and checked for bomb plantation.
Fortunately they could not found any explosive device fitted in the car.
Instead they found out that one of the front wheel of the car was punctured and a soiled loincloth (dhoti) and a pumyat was also found inside the car.
Imphal West Police tow away the car which later turned out to be car of a director of a department of the state government whose name was refused to be disclosed by the police.
