Imphal, February 25 2015:
The stalemate between the Manipur Government and All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has victimized the students and affected their academic career, said Oriental College Students' Union on Tuesday.
In a release general secretary of the union, Kh Romio further appealed to the government to bring up the issue in the state Assembly session starting February 25 .
It said any delay in bringing a clear-cut solution to the issue might lead to agitations by the students.
Further, the finance secretary of the union, Ningthoujam Bidyasagar has also demanded that the state Government bring a solution to the AMCTA issue at an earliest.
It also urged the students of Moirang College to attend their classes regularly as the part-time teachers will be taking them.
