Barak reaches Odisha

Imphal, November 28 2019:
Amur Falcon Barak, which was satellite radio tagged by officials of State Forest Department and Wildlife Institute of India (WII), has started sending signals from Odisha.
According to a source from the WII, Barak had stopped sending signals a few days after being satellite radio tagged on November 1 .
Today morning, signals were received from Barak which is currently at Odisha, the source mentioned adding that another bird, Irang is currently flying over the Arabian Sea while Chiyulon has already reached Tanzania.
Signals from Puching and Phalong are yet to be received till date, the source mentioned.
On the other hand, Amur Falcon Longleng, which was tagged from Nagaland, has reached Somalia.
