AR recruitment rally begins

Imphal, June 03 2013:
Recruitment procedure to fill vacancies of constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assam Rifles for hill districts of Chandel, CC Pur and Ukhrul has commenced from today.
According to a statement issued by PRO (IGAR (G), a widely publicised process of filling application forms for candidates by various AR Battalions and Sectors under HQ IGAR(South) has resulted in a large strength to exploit the unique opportunity in these Hill Districts.
Physical Efficiency Test (PST) and Physical Standard Test (PET) which marked its beginning today will extend for a week till 08 June 2013.In order to ensure smooth and a coordinated test procedure, eligible applicants have been called in different batches on varying dates to undergo the physical test procedure.
Necessary arrangements of lodging and messing at various Assam Rifles garrisons have also been made for candidates coming from far flung remote areas.
Subsequent to PST and PET, all qualified candidates will undergo a written examination on 09 June 2013 .
Speaking on the occasion, Brig Rajiv Mankotia, VSM, DIG, 26 Sector AR expressed contentment over enthusiastic participation of young boys from the hill district and re assured a fair and impartial recruitment process.
He also conveyed appreciation to all the local leaders and NGOs who have promoted the recruitment drive and given a meaningful start to the careers of youth from the district.
He further informed that the recruitment rally is a ongoing process and one should not dampen the spirit for not making in the merit but keep trying as many similar vacancies are coming up in future as well, and more importantly keep practising harder on the test procedures, the PRO added.
